My strengths
Reiko Vachot-Inukai, my profile
After working as a Japanese teacher, I began to work in a translation agency. In 2009, I decided to use my bi-cultural background to work as a freelancer, putting my personal skills and professional experience into practice to promote communication between France and Japan.
While working on written translation, I rediscovered the pleasure of writing in my mother tongue. Both when translating technical documents, seeking out precision and clear expression and when translating marketing, tourism and advertising brochures involving more creative writing.
During my interpreting work I am able to meet professions from different sectors of activity and discovering their products and services generates the same enthusiasm, although I remain discretely behind the scenes during discussions and negotiations.
